Description and Location
Welcome to Glacier Gateway Elementary. We are located just north of Highway 2 on 4th Ave. West in Columbia Falls, Montana. You can find us by turning north at the second of four stop lights on Highway 2 in columbia Falls as you drive west through town. We are located in a long brick building housing about 450 students in grades kindergarten through fifth grade.
Principal's Welcome
At Glacier Gateway, we strive to create a rich, welcoming, and safe environment that promotes student, family, and community engagement with school opportunities and programs. We are committed to individual support for our students in their academic achievement, social growth, and emotional well-being. Our academic programs offer appropriate support for learners of all types, helping students meet their potential and become motivated learners. Activities and special events provide chances for fun student and family social interactions. Please read my letter to the community for additional discussion of our school.

Activities
We have an After School Program that involves students in a variety of activities ranging from sports to book studies. Watch the Latest News column on the right of this page for an announcement of sign-up dates.
Our other activities include:
parent volunteers, Cribbage with Senior Citizens,
Math-a-Thon, Community Halloween Party, Community Carnival, and Glacier Gateway
Family Fun Night , and GG spring barbecue.
